Rooted

Listening to Mofro for a good modern blues fix. Leading a simpler life until August.

There is finally time for reflection again, somewhere outside of the blur of a bus window.

Home has my heart.

Yesterday I climbed for the first time since early May, exploring with my good friend Andrew.
The stone was found in Schooley's Mountain county park off the beaten path. We named the routes on this wall Arachnophobia 5.9 and Creeper Hole 5.7.
The holds up the face were minimal, worn by weather, but ascent is easy if you climb using the jagged holds to the right. This face was undoubtedly created by dynamite mining. Loose rocks and creepy crawlers are prevalent sources of fear.

Things are simpler when all you gotta think about is how to survive.

It's healthy to be home and working again. In my spare time I'm able to connect with my world, put some roots down, rather than just pass through. In media, I'm working on managing all of the content from a rush of month in New Zealand. A great experience where I worked and adventured with 40 peers, all strangers to begin with and now friends. I'm experimenting with upload methods and building my understanding of Wordpress on paid hosting.

Off to an afternoon on the bluegrass, later ya'll.
