Ayerland

The sun never sets on Joyce's rock
Seems that sleep comes around eleven o'clock
still the sky is lighted greyblue
orange sunset an infinite hue
as to where the day ends
I haven't yet found
awake in the 'morning' and chirps abound
bright as noon says the sun
at six thirty that's the story it certainly tells
what's in a clock? the hands don't tell me a thing
especially amidst all of this traveling
jump ahead fall behind
cross the dateline
Heavens no! Now I think I'm stuck in yesterday.

Climb a castle wall
stroll cobbled streets
Eurostyle reruns
everything's a repeat
but either way that makes sure
what you get is the best
Timetest the subjects
The right answer is popular demand
always has been
when not twisted by powers' hands
be sure you make yourself strong and true
and don't ever let someone lie to you

Instant coffee, a miracle!
across every sea
saving mornings every morning
for every addictee
